Have questions about finding a college-admissions counselor? BrightPath Admissions is here to help with clear information and free matching for families across the United States, including families who prefer a language other than English.

How to reach us

If you have questions about how BrightPath works, the best next step is to contact us through our website. We can explain our free matching service, help you understand what kinds of support an independent educational consultant, or IEC, may offer, and point you to helpful resources.

We support families across the US and can assist in 10 languages. If English is not your first language, that is okay. We want families to feel informed, respected, and comfortable asking questions.

If you are ready to take the next step, you can start here: Get matched.

What we can help with

BrightPath is not a counselor, college, or admissions office. We provide educational information and free matching only. Our role is to help families understand the process and connect with independent college-admissions counselors who may be a good fit.

We can help with questions like:
- What an independent educational consultant, or IEC, does
- How free matching works
- How to prepare to speak with a counselor
- Where to find beginner-friendly college-admissions information
- What kinds of families and students may benefit from coaching

We also share plain-language guidance about common parts of the process, including the Common Application, or Common App, Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, CSS Profile, Early Action and Early Decision, or EA and ED, and grade point average, or GPA.

If you are just getting started, you may also want to visit Services or browse our Guides.

What we cannot do

We want to be honest and clear. BrightPath cannot evaluate a student's chances of admission, predict scholarships, or guarantee any result. No counselor can guarantee admission to a college, a certain financial aid offer, or a specific test score.

We also do not complete applications, write essays, edit student work, or submit forms for families. Counselors coach and guide, but students must do their own work.

For privacy and safety, please do not send sensitive personal information through a contact form or message. That includes:
- Social Security numbers
- Financial account numbers
- Full academic records
- Test score reports
- Immigration documents or status details

If you need official answers about a specific college's requirements, deadlines, or admissions decision, the college itself is the right source.

Want help finding the right counselor?

If your main question is, "Can you help us find someone?" the answer is yes. Matching is free for families. We learn about your goals, preferences, and needs, then connect you with independent counselors in our network who may be a strong fit.

Families use BrightPath for many reasons. Some are new to the US college-admissions system. Some want support building a college list, understanding deadlines, or planning for financial aid. Others want a counselor who speaks their language or understands their family's background.

There is no pressure to move forward with a match. Our goal is to help you make an informed choice. If that sounds helpful, you can begin here: Get matched.

An honest note

No one can guarantee admission, a scholarship, or any outcome. Be cautious of anyone who promises one. BrightPath shares general educational information and free matching only.

Tell us about your student

We collect a short description and contact details only — never grades, test scores, financial account numbers, or immigration status.
